Your Health is a Priority

To raise awareness of the need to practice sports and their impact on women’s health, and to introduce the priorities of sexual and reproductive health on International Women’s Day 2020, the Foundation organized with the “Sarkha initiative to combat violence against women and children” and the “Basma Initiative” a Marathon Run for women and girls in the Basateen, Fayed Kamel, Ezbet Abu Sultan and Ezbet El Nasr areas at the Olympic Club in Maadi.

There was also an awareness seminar on sexual and reproductive health, in which Dr. Nourhan Salama, a sexual and reproductive health consultant, gave an informative lecture.

Your Digital Awareness

The Foundation launched this campaign in 2020 to combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on women and girls, aiming to prevent their vulnerability and exposure to harassment, intimidation, blackmail, and information theft in digital spaces.

The campaign included:

  • An awareness infographic on how to protect data and information across social media platforms, during e-commerce transactions, and through email protection.
  • An awareness video demonstrating how to report incidents of digital harassment or blackmail.

Take Your Right and Don’t Be Afraid

The Foundation launched this campaign during the activities and events of the 16 Days Against Violence campaign in 2019, funded by and in partnership with Plan International, Love Matters, and Masarat. The campaign aimed to urge women and girls to combat harassment in the workplace and report incidents of it.

The campaign included several activities:

  • Representative videos depicting various harassment situations that women may encounter in the workplace, along with strategies for confronting and reporting them.
  • Videos featuring public figures, athletes, artists, and parliamentarians discussing the importance of combating workplace harassment within their respective fields.

By circumcision you lose her, FGM destroys her

The foundation launched the campaign on June 16, coinciding with the National Day Against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). The campaign’s primary objective was to urge parents to take a stand against FGM and to underscore its detrimental consequences, including the health risks it poses to girls and the legal penalties involved.

This was accomplished through the dissemination of a series of infographics targeted at Egyptian families, outlining the harmul effects of FGM on the mental, psychological, and physical well-being of girls.
